Tagliatelle with Creme Fraiche, Lemon & Rocket

I saw this recipe on Italian Foodies and it looked so super (and different) that I was determined to try it. I suffer from red sauce-itis, where out of habit I expect pasta to be coated with tomato or garlic, or a combination of both. So this was something entirely different for me. It tasted delicious – very light and fresh. I did take the liberty of adding a handful of toasted pine; Lors, I hope you approve of this deviation!

    Looks fab Conor, I would imagine the pine nuts are a lovely addition so yes I approve, even though it’s not even my recipe:). I know what you mean about red sauce-itis, I’m the exact same! That’s why I think I enjoyed this pasta so much as it was refreshingly different and perfect for summer. Thanks a mil for the link and a complete post dedicated to it.     Cool, glad you approve! I think I’m going through a ‘pasta phase’ at the moment, due in no small part to reading your blog. In fact, I’ve got my eye on that sun-dried tomato pesto recipe of yours. I’ll keep you posted.

    I’m a Picasa fan myself, but lately I’ve been using Photoshop Elements to touch up photos lately.

    I haven’t gone near photoshop yet, I’ve heard it’s very hard to use?? The red pesto is really good, you should def try it! ciao:)

    I use a simple version called Photoshop Elements which is very easy to use. Photoshop itself is the ‘grown-up’ version and much more sophisticated.

    This is a lovely, easy yet so italian pasta dish! It is great because of the excellent flavours! Yum!
