Murgh Lababdar

1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 dried red chilli
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
3 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp garam masala
5 free-range chicken breast fillets, cubed
400ml water
40g butter
150ml single cream
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp fenugreek leaves, ground into powder
juice of 1/2 lemon
